Alene Lemarr, 73 of Osgood passed away at UC Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio on Thursday, November 24, 2016.  She was born on November 1, 1943 the daughter of the late Thurman and Pansy (Dillmon) Lemarr in Lee County, Virginia.

Alene loved all animals, especially her dogs and was a true outdoor person loving the sport of fishing, tending to her flowers, gardening and canning.  She was raised under the Baptist faith and continued this throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by, brothers Clyde and William Charles Lemarr and sister Eulene Lemarr.

Alene is survived by: her long time companion and friend, Algar Collins near Osgood, nephews Clyde Walter Lemarr of Brownstown, IN , David A. Lemarr of Salem, IN and Robert Lynn Lemarr of North Carolina and nieces Judy Kay (Gary) Williams, Pamela Sue (Frank) White and Sherry Lynn Laswell all of Holton, IN .

Visitation will be held at Neal's Funeral Home in Osgood from 10:00 am-11:00am Monday, November 28, 2016 followed by Funeral services at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Greendale Cemetery Near Osgood.
