Betty Neal, age 94 of Osgood, IN left this world on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Manderley Health Care Center of Osgood. She was born January 30, 1923 in Milan, IN to the late Joseph Phillip and Ella Pastner Hill. In her earlier life, she had lived in the Versailles area, but Osgood had been her home for many years. She was a sharp witted, spunky little woman with a great smile, who loved people and always was ready to play a game of bridge or euchre! Betty was a member of the Osgood UN Methodist Church and a longtime member of both the Versailles Osgood Associate Chapter of Tri Kappa and the Versailles Ladies Legion Auxiliary. For 20 years, her smiling face could be seen at Batesville Hospital where she served as a volunteer! Survivors include her daughter Beth Baylor of Lawrenceburg, IN, son Scott (Michelle) Neal of Osgood, and daughter-in-law Lila Neal of Osgood. Seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren survive. She was preceded in death by son, Bill Neal Jr., son-in-law Robert Baylor, and daughter-in-law Cindy Neal. Services will be held all in one day, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Osgood UN Methodist Church with the visitation being from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at which that time the funeral will begin. Burial will be at Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles, IN. Memorials may go to Cliff Hill Cemetery or the Osgood UN Methodist Church.
