E. Dale Owens, age 69 of Osgood, Indiana, with family by his side passed away peacefully early Tuesday afternoon, April 19, 2016 at the Manderley Health Care Center. He was the beloved son of the late James W. Owens & Wymena A. VanVolkenburg Owens who still survives. He was born November 9, 1946 at Batesville, Indiana. Dale had been a very dedicated and hard worker for Hillenbrand Industries of Batesville, Indiana for 42 years. Many people in Osgood and the surrounding area will remember Dale and his father repairing their TV's. His children fondly remember the times they shared with their dad go-kart racing! Enjoying flea markets, along with buying cars and working on them, had been some favorite pastimes.
