Phyllis was one of my favorite ladies while I was growing up at Milan Elementary School. She was also one of my mother's as well. My mom was Mary Gray Thompson, a fifth grade teacher at Milan. Phyllis was so kind and caring and also had a marvelous laugh. I'll never forget her! She always looked great whether she was standing in the mud at the farm or sitting at her desk in the office! I admired her so much! She could do anything and look so elegant to me while she was doing it! Hopefully she & mom are exchanging memories and laughing right now in heaven. I am truly sorry for your loss. She was a very special lady.

Alan, Lori, and families, So sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She was a remarkable lady. I have a lot of fond memories of her playing the piano at Ripley Crossing as well as many many memories of her while I was one of the many students she helped in grade school. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
