Dudley Ray Jones, age 84 of Osgood, IN passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg, IN . He was born December 27, 1928 in Osgood. His parents were Earle & Cleo Alline Mitchell Jones. Ray graduated from Osgood High School in 1949 & then went on to receive special training in meat cutting & produce from Purdue Univdersity. Using this special training, he went to work for the Osgood Super Market & Vollmers Store back in 1946 until 1968. On April 29, 1950, Ray married his beloved Shirley Ann Hosmer. From 1969 to 1972, he & Shirley owned & operated a country store in Brooksburg, IN . In his later years, he owned Ray's Garage in Osgood from 1972 to 1982. He was alos a member of the Osgood UN Methodist Church.
