Ethel Gay Peters age 83 of Milan, Indiana formerly of Osgood, Indiana was born March 2, 1931 at Rushville, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Wm. & Jessie Henderson White. She married Wm. Jay Peters March 12, 1949 & he preceded her in death in August of 1991.
Ethel had owned & operated the Osgood Fashion Shop in Osgood from 1956 to 1972. She then went to work as a supervisor for the GTE Telephone Company which was located in Greensburg, IN in 1974 & worked there until she retired in 1989. She was a 50 year plus member of the Ripley County 40 & 8 and also was a member of the Osgood Baptist Church. Ethel passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Ripley Crossing in Milan, Indiana.

Survivors:
Sister: Lettie Hicks of Osgood

Nieces and nephews survive.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Roland White & three sisters, Jennie Schmeltz, Shirley Kemker & Margaret Carpenter.

Burial: Greendale Cemetery near Osgood.
