Evelyn "Johnnie" Gayheart was born April 13, 1923 in Sylacauga, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Charles James & Ozelle Wallis Stewart. Evelyn married Willard Grayson Gayheart May 6, 1942 in Talladega, Alabama & he preceded her in death on July 20, 2004. She was a very hard working woman. She loved the great outdoors, especially gardening which led her to doing a lot of canning! In the winter, she spent a lot of her time quilting. Her family bragged about how great of a cook she was. Early Monday morning, December 28, 2015, Evelyn passed away at her grandson, Jay Gayheart & his wife Katrina's home. She will be so sadly missed by her family & friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlotte Utter & one sister, Charles Maelene Cleveland.
