John D. Vanosdol age 61, of Versailles, IN died January 29, 2010 at King's Daughter's Hospital, Madison, IN . He was born December 30, 1948 at Osgood, IN to the parents of Webb & Evelyn Shaffer Vanosdol, both deceased.
He worked 26 years for the Ripley County Highway Garage as a heavy equipment operator.
Mr. Vanosdol was a Vietnam Army Veteran having received the Purple Heart.He also was a member of the Versailles American Legion.
Survivors:
Son; Danny & wife Amanda Vanosdol of Versailles.
Daughters: Johna Wilson of Columbus, IN
Jenny Vanosdol of Rushville, IN
Melinda Carroll of St. Paul, IN
Grandchildren: 5
Brothers: Webb Vanosdol of Bright, IN
Mike Vanosdol of North Vernon, IN
Preceded in death by 1 brother, Danny Vanosdol.
Cremation will take place with private family services.
