Patricia Ann Rolf

Patricia Ann Rolf, age 82, of Osgood, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, early Saturday, October 25, 2025, at her home.

She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 15, 1943, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Helen (Byrd) Morris. Patricia began her schooling at Napoleon Elementary, but after her family moved to Hamilton, Ohio, she graduated from Garfield High School.

Life brought her back to the area, where she met a young man named James Rolf at the local Osgood roller rink—and that meeting forever changed her life. Patricia and James were united in marriage on January 12, 1963, and together shared 62 wonderful years. They first lived in Versailles before settling into their forever home in Osgood in 1964.

Pat worked in customer service for many years. Her career began at Frisch’s, back when servers wore roller skates, and over the years she worked at The Hanging Tree Restaurant, The Railroad Inn, the Osgood Moose Lodge, and AMVETS. She also helped with the Osgood Auction Mart auctions and spent the last 20 years of her career tending slot machines at Hollywood Casino.

Patricia enjoyed life to the fullest. She deeply loved her family—especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She loved to travel and was always ready for a new adventure, no matter where it might take her. She had a soft spot for her pets, and back in the days of CB radios, she was known by her handle “Leadfoot”—a name that fit her well, as few ever passed her on the road!   Patricia also cherished time spent going to yard sales and thrift shops—often taking shopping trips with her girls, complete with matching shirts.

She is survived by her loving husband James, son Robert Rolf, daughter Alison (Danny) Rogers, grandchildren Matthew Rogers and Danielle (Nick) Stapleton, great-granddaughter Lorelei “Rory” Jane Stapleton, brother Gary Morris, brothers-in-law Walter (Treva) Rolf, Phillip (Susie) Rolf, and Tony (Jennifer) Rolf, sister-in-law Sarah Boyd, Aunt Helen Doolan, and numerous niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers-in-law Aaron Rolf, George Rolf, and John Rolf, and sister-in-laws Eleanor Rolf, Rosa Rolf, and Sheila Morris.
