Richelle "Skeeter" Marie Groce

Richelle Marie “Skeeter” Groce, age 49, of Osgood, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

She was born on August 29, 1976, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Steve Groce and Judith Weinheimer. Richelle was a 1994 graduate of South Ripley High School and continued her education at Ivy Tech. She dedicated several years of her life to caring for special needs patients, providing compassionate in-home care.

Richelle enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, tending to her favorite flower buds, and playing Yahtzee and Mortal Combat. She loved cruising the backroads, especially during the Christmas season when she enjoyed driving to take in the holiday lights. Richelle found great comfort and companionship in her pets.

She is survived by her sons, Evan Joseph Wayne (Virginia Busey) Groce and Dalton Weinheimer; her mother, Judith Groce; her companion, Kyle Heidorn; her brother, Wayne Abney; and her sisters, Becky Lengerich, Robin Riede, and Cory Tomasetti.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Steve Groce.

Visitation will be held on Saturday December 27, 2025 from 11 am.- 1pm. at Neal’s Funeral home in Osgood. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm. with Pastor Dale Boyd officiating.
