Barbara May Dilk

Barbara May Dilk, age 83, of Osgood passed away Sunday evening at her home.  She was born on March 20,1938 in Napoleon to the late Leroy and Gladys May (Williams) Dunaway. 

She would meet and marry Gaylord Theodore Dilk on December 29, 1955.  They would begin their family together.  In the early years, Barbara was a housewife and raised their children.  In the last 60’ she would own and operate Barb’s Beauty Shop in Osgood until the early 80’s.  At this point she closed up shop and her and Ted would team drive a semi-truck across the United States.

Barbara is survived by daughters; Rhonda Blair, Marnita Scott, and Nancy (John) Kinkade, brother Donald (Joanne) Dunaway, sister Charlene Abrams, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband Gaylord Theodore Dilk, sons Ronald and Anthony, brothers Robert, Roy, and Jake, and sister Mildred Vonn.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 16, 2021 from 1-3 pm., at Neal’s Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday December 16, 2021 at 3 pm., also at the funeral home.
