Goble Lee Patrick, age 80, of Versailles passed away early August 30, 2019 surrounded by his family. Goble was born on July 30, 1939 the son of the late George and Fannie (Holland) Patrick in Lee City, Kentucky. In his early childhood, the family moved to the Holton community where he grew up along with his brother and sisters.
Goble attended school and then went home to work, on the family farm. In the mid 1950’s his life would be forever changed, when he would meet future wife Jacqueline Forwalt. They were united in marriage in Dabney on August 6, 1960 and they were blessed with a son and daughter.
He worked for nearly 30 years at Williams Plastic in Shelbyville and helped Ray Menchhofer on the farm. Goble enjoyed helping at the drive- in movie theater near his home in Versailles.
