Kenneth “Kenny” Theodore Wendelman, age 82 of Osgood passed away early November 13, 2019 at Arbor Grove in Greensburg. Kenny was born on December 7, 1936 the son of the late Irvin and Myrtle (Schwipps) Wendelman in Dearborn County Indiana.
Kenny grew up in the Milan area and was a member of the famed 1954 Milan Indian State Champs. After high school, he entered the work force. He spent his entire career in the construction field. For several years, he owned and operated Kenny Wendelman Construction, he prided himself in doing his work to perfection. His patience and attention to detail would be second to no one.
For those that knew Kenny it was understood he had an opinion on about any topic and yours was typically wrong. He was competitive in whatever he was involved in. He enjoyed bowling and fishing, whenever time allowed. Kenny was a gifted guitar player.
Kenny is survived by niece Jennifer Hoog of Metamora, brother James Wendelman of Weisburg, great nephew Jeff Hoog and great great nephew Aiden. He was preceded in death by son Brian and sister Rita Lamping.
Visitation will be held on Monday November 18 from 10-12 pm., with funeral services following at 12 pm. all at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood. Burial will follow at St Paul Lutheran Cemetery at Stumpke Corner.
