Landon Douglas Turner

One of our favorite social butterflies passed away early morning on May 29, 2022.  Landon Douglas Turner, age 19, of Osgood, lost his life in an automobile accident.  Landon was born on January 27, 2003 in Batesville, Indiana the son of Ahnjayla Turner. 

Landon attended Jac-Cen-Del High School graduating in 2021. During high school he began working for Jesse Comer Excavating, and he continued to work there full time upon graduation.  In high school, Landon played basketball for JCD and was well known for his defensive play, 3 point shot and his mullet!  His work ethic and positive attitude was contagious.  He always had a smile and enjoyed making others happy.

Landon’s love of life was evident in his friendships. His greatest times were spent with friends. He enjoyed kayaking, corn hole, euchre, and anything he could do with his buddies.  He had buddies wherever he went and was always known to be a good guy. Those memories will be cherished by his buddies for their lifetime.

He will be dearly missed by his mother Ahnjayla, sister Lexus Jones, grandparents Doug and Marilyn Turner, along with uncles Terry and Raymond Turner.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday June 2, 2022 at 5 pm. At Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood.  Doors will open at 4 pm., for friends and family to gather.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.  Online condolences may be placed at Nealsfuneralhome.net .
