Lisa Jean Batchelor

Lisa Jean Batchelor, age 47 of Versailles passed away on December 8, 2020.  Lisa was born on March 4, 1973 the daughter of Ed and Brenda (Chapman) Petro in Dearborn County.

Lisa was a graduate of Milan High School.  Shortly after graduation, simply driving down the road she would pass Gary Batchelor.  She turned around; this would change the rest of her life.  They were united in marriage on November 28, 1992 and recently celebrated their 28th anniversary.  The marriage was blessed with sons Brandan and Brady.

She enjoyed watching classic tv shows like Mama’s Family and I Love Lucy.  Her greatest joys came from being home with her family and tending to her rose bushes.  She loved her pets Peanut and Meekie.

Lisa is survived by husband Gary, sons Brandan (Audrey Meade) and Brady, father Ed, sister Lynn Birkle, nephews Corey and Randy, and aunts Judy Schebler, Debbie Patton, and Ginger Peasley. She was preceded in death by her mother Brenda. Online condolences may be placed at Nealsfuneralhome.net
