Lynnis Marie (Garrett) Foster

Lynnis “Lynn” Marie Foster, age 59, of Osgood passed away on March 9, 2024.  She was born in Seymour, Indiana on September 27, 1964, the daughter of the Tom and Betty (Foist) Garrett.                

Lynn was a graduate of Jennings County High School Class of 1982.  She began her work career, only to find her life would forever change in 1987.  On a happen chance meeting in Osgood, she would run into John Foster.  They began dating and were married on July 31, 1988, celebrating their 35 anniversary this past summer.

Lynn enjoyed gardening, canning, and an occasional puzzle.  She was an avid soap opera fan, rarely ever missing an episode of The Young and Restless.  Lynn helped her sister with her day care.  She enjoyed her red pop and orange cream soda.  Above all she was proud of the family her and John had created.

She will be dearly missed by husband John, son Shawn, sister Toni (Jerry) Lee of Columbus and Judy King of Madison, and brother John (Regina) King of Elizabethtown, Indiana.  Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Mike, Bob, Roger, and Jerry, and step-father Clarence Burnett.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 14, 2024 from 3 pm-6 pm. at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood.  Funeral services will be held at 6 pm., also at Neal’s on the 14th.  Memorials may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.  Online condolences can be placed at Nealsfuneralhome.net
