Michael Alan Scott

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Scott, 32 of Osgood, Indiana on November 20, 2022 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Michael was born November 28, 1989 in Greensburg, Indiana to Mike Scott, Versailles and Marnita (Dilk) Scott, Osgood. He was their only son and was welcomed by 3 older sisters Elisha, Vanessa and Denise Norman. He attended South Ripley School and later went to work driving a truck for his cousins’ log business.

Michael had an active role in the lives of his young nieces and nephews, Cross, Marnita, Janay, and Gabe. He was very influential in their upbringing and will be sorely missed. Besides his family, he loved God and was an avid reader and had a great knowledge of the Bible. He liked to spend time with friends and his quick wit and ability to imitate TV and movie characters often made him the funniest guy in the room. He had a lot of knowledge about many subjects, one of which was cars. Auto Trader was a favorite read for him. He enjoyed spending time in the country and loved to ride 4-wheelers. Other things he loved was animals, cooking and singing. Michael was very considerate of others and their needs. He had a calming demeaner and a counseling nature.

He will be greatly missed by his parents, siblings, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at 5 pm., at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood.  Doors will open at 4 pm.  In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the family in care of the funeral home.  Online condolences may be placed at Nealsfuneralhome.net
