Patricia A. Brown

Patricia “Pat” Wolford Brown, age 85, of Greensburg passed away late Saturday September 17 surrounded by her family.  She was born on August 21, 1937 the daughter of the late William L and Marie (Thielbar) Wolford. 

Pat grew up in the Osgood community and was a graduate of Osgood High School.  Upon completion of school she would marry Eugene Brown on February 15, 1959, they were married for over 50 years prior to Gene’s death.   She worked a few years in the Jac-Cen-Del School system in the cafeteria and spent a few years at Vollmer’s store.  She worked several years at the US Shoe factory and the over 15 years at Hillenbrand Industries.

She was a member of Indianapolis Eastern Stars, pass member of Osgood Women’s Moose Auxiliary #629 (her husband was very active in the Moose), past member of Osgood Business Women, and a member of the Osgood Christian Church.

She will be dearly missed by children Eugene O. (Cindy) Brown Jr., Christina M. Bennett, and William Michael “Mike” (Gloria) Brown, brother Ben (Mary Ann) Wolford, grandchildren Amy, Stacey, Vicci, Heather, Joyce, Kathryn (Katie), Corey, Leigha, William (Willie), Ashlee, Mack, Eric, Mindy, and Heather Dawn, 31 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene, sister Hilda Ellison, brother John (Anne) Wolford, and daughter Victoria.
