Theresa Gail Swinney

Theresa Gail Swinney, age 65 of Versailles passed away late May 5, 2023 surrounded by her family.  She was born on April 3, 1958 the daughter of the late Truman and Doris Walker in Indianapolis.

Her family moved in 1973 to New Marion, where she would have new neighbors.  It just so happened that Chester Swinney lived next door, and they were united in marriage in 1977.  They were blessed with 2 children. 

Theresa had spent years working in production, and was currently an employee of Ripley County working in the county annex building.  She was a classy lady, always making sure her hair and make-up was in order.  She had many joys in life, but her grandchildren were the center of her world.

She is survived by husband Chester Swinney of Versailles, son Chad (Angela) Swinney of Bright, daughter Jennifer (Shawn) McIntosh of Versailles, and grandchildren; Cole McIntosh, Adalynn Swinney, and Cammi Swinney.
